Very Rare Goldring Lenco ’88

Very Rare Goldring Lenco ’88 in 75-pound Classic plinth, fully updated to MKII specifications

This was Goldring’s design, an answer to the Garrard “motor unit” style. The Goldring reworking of this design (Garrard 301) is visually very successful, being more streamlined and modern-looking, preserving the low-profile Lenco platter style. Though not as wide across, the platters on these machines appear to be slightly heavier. I had built this plinth for an audio distributor for two tonearms, one 12″ tonearm and one 9″ tonearm. Since this is such a rarity price for it as-is (with four new improved tonearms boards, modernizing of the plinth with my new logo badge, freshening of the veneer and all MKII modifications and parts and options included, mat, footers, ultra-high-accuracy idler wheel) will be $5400. Can be rolled up with various tonearms for a package deal, contact for possibilities and prices. I can also rebuild this machine into a Reference Lenco MKII plinth, with all Reference Lenco MKII parts and sonic abilities, for $8250 base price.
