It comes with three adjustable footers for perfect leveling, being simply massive carriage bolts (which can be upgraded) which are very effective and will not damage surfaces due to the rounded heads. It also includes an effectively new main bearing, with new bushings machined out and a new and improved thrust plate, to produce a significant improvement over the original stock bearing in terms of detail-retrieval, bass, clarity, speed and high-frequency extension, while improving actual musicality: timing, rhythm, coherence.

This model is far and above what was reported in the past and currently by DIYers for similar recipes, and includes new materials in the plinth and techniques of assembly/building never divulged, for a better overall result, which devolved logically from the basic recipe and sonic aims. Each one is hand-made, tuned and extensively tested in my own system, which means something as I have personally rebuilt more than 150 turntables so far, and counting.

The next step up is the 100-pound (roughly) version, $5100 including Lenco. The extra mass is easily audible as increased black backgrounds/reduction of noise, clearer transients, better retrieval of fine detail, deeper bass and clearer highs. It is 24 1/2″ x 20 1/2″ x 7 1/4″. Both Classic models can be upgraded in a variety of ways. Add $500 for exotic solid woods, plus the cost of said wood. Exotic veneers are available, contact me to see what is available or what can be special-ordered. For a two-tonearm plinth instead of one-tonearm plinth, add $300. The metacrylate mat is $250 (a serious sonic upgrade), for the Bearpaw footers $200 (another serious upgrade). The ultra-high-accuracy idler-wheel is available at a cost of $350, only when all other options have been installed (as the wheel realizes the potential of all that has come before, and so is the crowning piece). Each tonearm position comes with two tonearm boards, and installation of tonearm is included if it is sent to me.
