PLUS FRESHLY-REBUILT GRAHAM 2.2 TONEARM
This is the ‘table which both proved my claims for the extreme levels of potential locked in both idler-wheel-drives in general, and the Lenco in particular, opening the door to the countless Lenco-rebuilding businesses currently populating the planet. But is still THE record player which actually received Salvatore’s highest accolade, Upper Class A rating, with NO caveats and only various new sonic ground broken in all sorts of audiophile areas.
Salvatore traded in his original production Reference Lenco (MKI) against a new-look Reference Lenco MKII, built for two tonearms (12” and 9”). It is designed according to my Reference Lenco MKI designs, in solid black ash, chamferred to 45 degress all around, with brass highlights, as seen on my Gallery. I have left the original brass plaque, which reads:

Back at that time, I had only two models, what I now call the Classic Lenco (to differentiate from the Reference) in either 75-pound or 100-pound versions. I call them “Classic” as they are based on the original recipe I created on Audiogon years ago, when I burst upon the scene with the thread on Audiogon which started it all: Building high-end ‘tables cheap at Home Despot.” Since I had no new name for the new design/recipe, I simply used a standard plaque from the day.
It has now been updated to full MKII specifications and capabilities, as per Salvatore’s analysis of the MKII modifications and improvements, readable on my reviews page.
I have freshened up the plinth, inset one of my new logo badges on the front upper left, and will include a Certificate of Authenticity, signed by me. Contact for pricing details.
